Starting a new year, a new job, or a new project one of your first tasks is to set goals.  My wife tunes out as soon as the word “goal” is uttered because so often the process seems detached from reality.  Worse, we usually grow tired of the activity and stop prior to reaching agreement and writing our goals down.

Has this happened on your projects?  I’ll admit, it has on mine.  But there are tools and rules to fix that.  It’s just a matter of discipline, right?  New year, new leaf.
